School Improvement Plan

A School Improvement Plan (“SIP”) is intended to be the primary artifact used by every school with stakeholders to review data, set goals, create an action plan and monitor progress. Our school’s current School Improvement Rating is Commendable.

The SIP for Main Street High can be found here.

Enrollment Process

Main Street High agrees to enroll any eligible student who submits a timely application.  However, if the number of applications exceeds the capacity of a program, class, grade level, or building, all applicants shall have an equal chance of being admitted through a random lottery.

Controlled Open Enrollment allows a parent from any school district in the state to enroll his or her child in and transport his or her child to any public school, including charter schools, that has not reached capacity.

For more information, please click here.  The school capacity is 550.

Annual Measurable Objectives / School Grade

Main Street High School follows the FLDOE alternative grading system in which our school achieved a rating of Commendable. Additional information can be found on the FLDOE’s website.
